Our Passion.Troup ISD strives to provide the latest technology for our employees and students within our means. We want to not only put devices in their hands, but give them the tools they need in any online environment.

Simply put, the lesson is there are few rules unique to ensuring safety online, but rather, the rules are general ones that should be applied online or off. In short, treat an online environment just as you would a playground or park.

It's the law.
In accordance with the Protecting Children in the 21st Century Act, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires schools to educate the students about appropriate online behavior. This includes education on interacting with other individuals on social networking websites and in chat rooms and on cyber-bullying awareness and reponse.
